Handbags Vertically Integrated Shopping Platform for Millennial and GenZ Women

Before starting RICCCI, my co-founder and I like many girls were obsessed with online shopping! We were drawn to the idea of a beautiful lifestyle and the seemingly high-quality product images, and we kept shopping on various major online platforms. As a result, we encountered many problems such as big different prices in different platforms, the disparity between the actual items and the pictures, and the quality not meeting our expectations, which made us feel all thrifted rare and/or vintage. As a 20-30's female group pursuing individuality and quality in life, we saw the complexity of multi-platform choices, huge price differences, and strong demands for change in the commercial world. When we are busy every day, juggling different roles that illustrate the hardships and excitement of women's lives through work, life, or study, why is it so difficult to find a purse and bag shopping platform that offers a complete range of products, guaranteed quality, and affordable to those of top brands?
After consulting with our female contacts around around the world, we understood that this problem was also a common pain point for them. Therefore, together with a group of female professionals, we created Riccci: a vertical shopping platform for women's purses and bags designed for those looking for "high-quality, individual, fashionable and affordable purses and bags" - shaped by and for professional women.
Quality, fashion, well-designed, and affordable
After interviewing more than 80 women, and following 10 women working in academia, workplace, bosses, and fashion bloggers, and using the popular product design method "design thinking," we realized that the design of women's handbags must be tasteful, sustainable, environmentally, and a fashion necessity for modern women. Considering this, each of our bags is collected in collaboration with our female product operations team, who are not only designers or technicians, but also brand marketers, e-commerce managers, and customer service representatives. We take an engineering-driven approach, combining thoughtful, practical design with exquisite, modern aesthetics. You will never sacrifice form for function, nor will you tire yourself out searching through massive selections on various platforms. We ensure high cost performance and high-quality control, allowing you to get what you see in pictures or videos.
Achieving a tasteful quality life
The name Riccci was chosen, in part, because of the potential for modern working women to be agents of change in their chosen industries. We see their power to be resilient - gentle and fierce, calm and powerful, all at once.
But more importantly, we believe in the wildness and freedom of this name: because the real power of women lies in living according to their inner desires and living freely. This is not only about the smooth social interactions and corporate promotions, but also about our right to adhere to our individuality and innovation.
